Prayer Pause is designed to respect your privacy. This app does not collect personal data.
Data Collection
By default, Prayer Pause does not collect, store, transmit, or share any user data. All app data remains on your device.
Anonymous Usage Analytics (Optional)
You may choose to opt in to sharing anonymous usage analytics to help improve the app.
If you opt in:
- Anonymous usage events may be collected
- Analytics are processed by PostHog
- No personally identifiable information is collected
- No name, email, or account information is collected
- No location data is ever transmitted
- Analytics cannot be used to identify you
If you do not opt in, no analytics data leaves your device.
You can change this setting at any time in the app.
Location Data
Prayer Pause may use your device location to calculate prayer times.
Location data:
- Is processed only on your device
- Never leaves your device
- Is never transmitted to analytics or servers
- Is never stored by the developer
iCloud Sync (Optional)
You may choose to enable iCloud sync for prayer history and app settings.
If enabled:
- Prayer history and settings are stored in your private iCloud account
- Data is managed by Apple iCloud
- The developer cannot access your iCloud data
- Only prayer history and settings are synced
If iCloud sync is disabled, this data remains only on your device.
